At Felltarn Design Studio, we love bringing stories to life through impactful design, and when those stories are full of community pride, colourful blooms, and meaningful initiatives, our creativity truly flourishes.
This year, we had the pleasure of designing a bespoke brochure for Sidcup Partners as part of their entry into London in Bloom 2025. The aim? To create something visually engaging, on-brand, and memorable for the judges to enjoy as they toured Sidcup’s floral and community projects.
A Four-Page Celebration of Community and Colour
We designed a four-page brochure that celebrated Sidcup’s dedication to beautifying their town. Using Sidcup Partners’ branding as the foundation, we added unique, hand-drawn floral illustrations by Claire from Felltarn to give it a fresh, personal touch.
The layout combined vibrant photography of the floral displays and community projects with well-structured, easy-to-read text — ensuring that judges could absorb the details while being immersed in the colour and spirit of the town.
From lavender-filled raised beds along Station Road to brightly planted barrier planters representing local charities, every page highlighted a different project that brought both beauty and purpose to Sidcup’s public spaces.

Stories That Make a Difference
The brochure captured some of Sidcup’s standout initiatives for 2025, including:
Community-planted hanging baskets — assembled with help from adults with autism, bringing colour to Sidcup High Street.
Memorial Garden — inspired by VE Day remembrance, complete with decorated rocks by local schoolchildren.
Sidcup Community Larder — supported by supermarkets, pubs, and schools to redirect surplus food to those in need.
Eco-conscious street cleaning — led by local hero Colin, using rainwater and eco-friendly products to keep Sidcup spotless.
Wild-garden at St. John’s Church — bursting with meadow flowers to boost local biodiversity.
Each project was presented with colour-rich photography and illustrated accents to capture both the visual beauty and the heartfelt community effort behind them.
Impact Beyond the Page
Last year, Sidcup Partners earned a ‘Silver Gilt’ award at London in Bloom, and this year’s entry shows that they’ve continued to build on that success with fresh, impactful projects.
Our goal in designing the brochure was to create more than just an information handout — we wanted to make a beautiful keepsake that reflected Sidcup’s community pride, environmental commitment, and collaborative spirit.
When the judges visited Sidcup, they had a tactile, visually engaging guide in hand — something that complemented what they saw on their tour and left a lasting impression.
We’re so proud to have played a part in showcasing Sidcup’s story and can’t wait to see the results of their 2025 London in Bloom entry.
Here’s to more flowers, more community spirit, and more beautiful design.
